Thirukkural Verse 314 — Not Injuring
இன்னாசெய் தாரை ஒறுத்தல் அவர்நாண நன்னயஞ் செய்து விடல்.
English Meaning
The (proper) punishment to those who have done evil (to you), is to put them to shame by showing them kindness, in return and to forget both the evil and the good done on both sides.

நமக்குத் தீமை செய்தவரைத் தண்டிக்கும் வழி, அவர் வெட்கப்படும்படி அவருக்கு நன்மையைச் செய்து அவர் செய்த தீமையையும், நாம் செய்த நன்மையையும் மறந்துவிடுவதே.
